Situated in the State of Ohio, County of Madison and Village of Jefferson and bounded and described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at a corner stake to G.D. Jones in Line of Fairview Addition to the Village of Jefferson; thence with the line of Fairview Addition South 11 1/2 deg. E. 482 feet to the center of the London and Jefferson Road; thence with the center of the London and Jefferson Road South 65 1/4 deg. W. 277 feet to a stake in the center of the said road, corner to W.H. Headley; thence with Headley's line North 11 1/2 deg. W. 480 feet to a stake in the line of G.D. Jones, corner to Headley; thence with Jones' line North 64 1/4 deg. E. 277 feet to the beginning, containing 2.96 acres of land, part of Survey No. 2836. Saving and excepting therefrom the following two tracts: Tract 1: Beginning at a corner stake to G.D. Jones in line of Fairview Addition to the Village of Jefferson; thence with the line of Fairview Addition South 11 1/2 deg. East 482 feet to the center of the London and Jefferson Road; thence with the center of the London and Jefferson Road South 65 1/4 deg. West 119 feet to a point in the center of said Road and in the Southeast line of Martin M. Miller's and Mary Kathryn Miller's 2.96 acre tract; thence North 11 1/2 deg. West on a line parallel with the east and west lines of said 2.96 acre tract, to a point in the northwesterly line of said 2.96 acre tract, measured South 64 1/4 deg. West 119 feet from the place of beginning; thence North 64 1/4 east 119 feet to the place of beginning, containing 57,358 square feet of land more or less, and being 119 feet off the entire easterly side of said 2.96 acre tract of the said Martin M. Miller and Mary Kathryn Miller. Tract 2: Beginning in the center of the London, Jefferson Pike (State Route 142), as now established, at a point which bears S. 65 deg. 15' W. a distance of 198 feet from the Southwest corner of the Fairview Addition to West Jefferson; thence with said Road S. 65 deg. 15' W. a distance of 79 feet to the Southwest corner of the Borland line, thence with said Borland line N. 11 deg. 30' W. a distance of 473.8 feet to a fence corner on the Northwest corner of the Hoffman 1.64 acre tract; thence N. 64 deg. 15' E. a distance of 80 feet to a corner post on the said Hoffman line which bears S. 64 deg. 15' W. a distance of 198 feet from the line of the Fairview Addition; thence S. 11 deg. 30' E. a distance of 474.3 feet to the beginning, containing .83 acres more or less, subject to all legal highways or rights of way. Being the same premises conveyed by Russell Elwood Hoffman and Illah W. Hoffman, husband and wife, to Vernon L. Clay and Mabel G. Clay, on January 20, 1951, as shown in Deed Record Volume 146, page 165 on file at the Court House in London, Ohio.
